Biography
Kelowna-based visual artist Nathalie Denise Coulombe studied fine art at both Langara College and Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver. Born in Montreal and raised in a family for whom art and design were central—both of Nathalie’s parents taught art at Concordia University as well as running a successful ad and design agency—Nathalie developed from a young age a thorough love and respect for the arts. Nathalie’s work has appeared in solo and group shows and is housed in private collections across Canada, the United States, and Europe. She is also the recipient of several artist residencies in British Columbia. After maintaining a successful professional art practice in Vancouver for several years, Nathalie relocated to the Okanagan Valley, whose arid desert beauty and tranquility inspire her daily.
